CoachSMS (“CoachSMS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is owned and operated by VAST BRANDS LLC and provides an AI fitness-coaching service delivered over text message and a companion website at coachsms.com (together, the “Service”). The coachsms.com domain and website are owned by Centrex Ventures (centrexventures.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Phone number. Your mobile number is your account identity and how the coach reaches you.
• Profile & preferences. Your name (if you share it), weekly goal, reminder times, coaching style, time zone, and any details you choose to tell the coach.
• Coach memory. Facts you ask the coach to remember (for example, an injury, your equipment, or your schedule) so it can coach you better.
• Messages. The content of texts you exchange with the coach.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & message metadata. Delivery status, message counts/segments, credit balance, streaks, and timestamps.
• Device & log data. When you use the dashboard, standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
• Cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use your information

• Provide the coaching Service — send and respond to messages, reminders, and workout guidance.
• Track your goals, streaks, and progress.
• Process payments, manage your plan, and handle message credits.
• Maintain safety and prevent abuse of the Service.
• Improve and operate the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

How the AI works

To generate coaching replies, we send the relevant parts of your message and a small amount of context (such as your goal and any saved memories) to our AI provider, Anthropic. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, your content is not used to train their models. We send only what is needed to coach you.

SMS messaging & consent

When you sign up or text the Service, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from CoachSMS, including coaching, reminders, and account messages. Message frequency varies based on your usage and settings. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service:

• Twilio — to send and receive text messages.
• Stripe — to process payments.
• Anthropic — to generate AI coaching responses.
• Supabase — to securely store your account data.
• Vercel — to host the website and application.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may ask us to delete your data (see your rights below); we will delete or anonymize it unless we must retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.

Your choices & rights

• Opt out of texts any time by replying STOP.
• Access or update your profile and saved memories from your dashboard.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@coachsms.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights and do not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes may also be communicated by text or on the website.
